Chai Talay Villas’ serene beachside location lends itself to that perfect getaway vacation.  The villas are well hidden from passers by and beautifully flanked by very few houses of similar standing, yet only 30 minutes from Samui’s international airport.

Samui has maintained its island feel and is famed for its relaxed village charm and laid-back atmosphere, despite having catered to the needs of the modern traveller.  The south of the island is a great hopping off point for the Anthong Marine Park, Koh Tao, Nan Yuang (with world class coral reefs and dive sites).  On Lipa Noi’s most sought after beachfront with sunset views over the Five Islands and Anthong Marine Park, Baan Kilee boasts a surround of quiet and undeveloped beaches, coconut plantations and forested hills, whilst the Thai people enjoy a slow pace of life tending fields, swimming with buffalo and fishing.

Lipa Noi beach sits adjacent to the larger Lipa Yai beach just a few seconds walk across the road.  It is perfect for those long morning runs and local eateries, and is still only 10 minutes from Nathon (the island’s capital), 5 minutes from the glitzy scene at Nikki Beach and 20 minutes in the Baan Kilee minivan to the night life in Lamai.

You may have been on many villa holidays in Bali, Phuket  or other Thai locations but Samui offers something quite different from them all.

How to Get Here

Chai Talay Villas is located at Lipa Noi beach, 30 minutes from the airport and 40 minutes from Chaweng.

Samui Airport is one of the most picturesque in the world.  There are direct flights from Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Bangkok and Phuket.

Cathay Pacific, Thai Airways, JAL and Korean Air fly direct to Bangkok or Hong Kong from the UK, Japan, Korea and Canada for onward connection to Samui Airport via Bangkok Airways.

Driving Directions

It is extremely important to arrange a transfer for your day of arrival so our local drivers can get you to the villa easily.
For those hiring a rental car, we suggest drop off be arranged at the villa, or else to follow the transfer van with your luggage.  Your villa manager can arrange a car for you on arrival.

The Lipa Noi beach is however clearly marked on any map of Samui, just west of the Naval Base and the entry road to Baan Kilee, The Place, Lipa Noi is just 50 metres before reaching the Naval Base itself which is a dead end.  If you miss the turning and find yourself at the Rajah Ferry you have gone too far.
